BOSTON -- Bruins center Patrice Bergeron suffered a concussion and a broken nose as the result of a vicious hit from behind by Philadelphia's Randy Jones on Saturday.
According to a statement released by the team, Bergeron has regained consciousness and has full feeling and movement in all of his extremities, and medical tests have not revealed any additional injuries to his head or neck.
The NHL will likely issue a ruling on whether to suspend Jones on Monday.
Here's some video from the hit, and you can hear the Flyers commentators try to justify it. Despicable.
